The answer of this very important question depends on what version of the Bible you have. In one version, Jesus is mentioned 883 times; in some versions He is mentioned from 900 to some 1000 times. In others versions, Jesus is mentioned from 1200 to some 1700 times and so on up to 1907 times!  In the Quran, Jesus is mentioned 25 times.

When I have seen the difference in the results of how many times the word “prostrate” is mentioned in 22 different English versions of the Bible, I said let us try another item.

As far as I know, Jesus is the most important person in the Bible.

It is interesting that the New Century Version mentions Jesus twice times than does the American Standard Version. Actually, it is more than twice; for every 215 Jesus in the New Century Version there is one hundred Jesus in the American Standard.

 

Only two versions out of the 22 different English versions of the Bible mention Jesus equally; they are the New International Version 1984 and the New International Version – UK and both of them mention Jesus 1277 times.

 

Furthermore, in some versions Jesus is mentioned from 900 to some 1000 times. In others versions, He is mentioned from 1200 to some 1700 times and so on up to 1907 times!

 

This is unbelievable; I really could not imagine how and why they do that?

O you eminent Biblical writers, how and why you have done that with your Lord Jesus?

Certainly, this is a major Biblical scandal.

 

Today, the world is heading very fast for improving the quality control of goods and affairs. What about the quality control of the Bible at least in respect to the name of the Lord Jesus?

 

On the other hand, let us see how many times Jesus is mentioned in two different Arabic versions of the Bible?

2. How many times Jesus is mentioned in the Quran?

 

Now let us see how many times Jesus is mentioned in the original Arabic Quran that is revealed unto the Prophet Muhammad via the Angel Gabriel, as well as in the four English translations of the meanings of the Noble Quran?

Jesus is mentioned 25 times in the original Arabic Quran.

It should be emphasized that the original Arabic Quran is the same one all over the world.

The copy of the original Arabic Quran in Africa is the same as the copy of the Arabic Quran in Asia, Europe, North America, South America, United States and Australia

 

Then, how many times Jesus is mentioned in the four English translations of the Quran?

All the four English translations mention Jesus 25 times (not 24 or 26), the same as He is mentioned in the original Arabic Quran that is revealed unto the Prophet Muhammad.
